This vessel features a gently rounded body with a thick, flared rim, while the lower exterior is decorated with evenly carved, basket-weave–inspired incised lines. A continuous band of small glazed studs encircles the shoulder. The interior and rim are coated with a thin grey-green glaze that provides practical water resistance, whereas the unglazed body enhances grip and breathability during use. Although Ganzhou wares are predominantly stoneware with unglazed or minimally glazed rims, there are a few examples of Ganzhou pieces finished entirely in celadon glaze. In this context, the celadon-glazed mouth area of the present piece is particularly notable. Based on the celadon-glazed section, the piece may date earlier than the Song–Yuan period range.
