Celadon-glazed ewer characterized by its simple and functional design. The piece features a straight handle extending horizontally from the body and a short spout for pouring liquids. Its surface is coated with a soft, olive-green glaze, which is typical of early celadon ware. The visible crazing (fine crackle patterns in the glaze) indicates its significant age and adds to its aesthetic charm. A celadon piece of the same form from the late Tang Dynasty is on display at the Wenzhou Museum(National Museum in China).
