Large Green Glazed Court Figures, Ming Period

A hexagonal-based tomb figure depicting a standing court official in ceremonial dress, covered in a rich, dark green lead glaze that pools naturally along the folds of the robe. The face and neck are left in exposed slip or pale-toned glaze, giving the figure a lifelike, individualized expression beneath a tall black official's cap.

The underside of the base is unglazed, revealing the raw earthenware body — a detail consistent with period kiln practice. Natural glaze pooling, minor losses, and surface wear are present throughout, consistent with age and burial context, lending the piece an appealing archaic patina (古拙美).

Overall well-preserved with expected minor glaze loss and wear. A rare and decorative burial pottery figure, suitable for display or serious collection.
